Triad Business Brokerage was founded in early 2002 .

Zac Johnson grew up in Winston Salem, N.C. In 1988, Zac went on to work for L.M. Berry (a BellSouth subsidiary) where he became a member of the "President's Club," L.M. Berry's top sales award and was later promoted to Southeastern Area Supervisor.

L.M. Berry is a fine company, but Zac grew restless and wanted to do things a little differently. So, in December of 1994, Zac founded Zacco Enterprises, Inc. and two months later bought his first business in Raleigh, NC--an automotive repair facility (which he knew nothing about). That business flourished and Zac went to do some commercial real estate developing in the Raleigh area. In 1999, Zac bought his second automotive repair facility (located in Greensboro, NC) and moved his family back to the Triad.

In early 2003, Zac sold his automotive businesses and teamed up with David Conrad (founder of Triad Business Brokerage). Zac and David developed a strong business relationship and in early 2004, David mentioned to Zac that he was interested in retiring and moving to his second home located in Beech Mountain, NC.

In May 2004, Zac bought Triad Business Brokerage from David Conrad and--as the saying goes--the rest is history! Because Zac is a business owner and broker, he has stood in your shoes and knows what it takes to make your business dreams a reality.
